Into the Multiverse
A WHOLE NEW WORLD
Medusa and Cabbage are missing, lost through a tear in the fabric of the multiverse.
Cain goes to Sarpedon, the home of the gorgons, to discover a way to find them and bring them home. Before he can do anything, Hermes, the new king of the gods, sends his demigod children to trap Cain, Hannah, Fred, and Layla on Sarpedon so they'll be permanently out of the way.
After realizing escape is impossible, Cain and the others go through the tear and end up in a distant dimension that seemingly branched from Gaia Prime eons ago. They soon learn that this world bears little resemblance to their own in significant ways.
They meet a group of people with troubles of their own. In order to find Medusa and Cabbage and get home, they'll need to help these people fight off an insectoid invasion from another dimension.
It turns out these people are no strangers to mad gods and world-ending events, so Cain agrees to help them save this universe they call the Overworld.
They soon discover that the insectoids are only a small part of their problem. That there are far more sinister forces lurking behind the invasion.
And if they can't stop them, the infection will spread across the multiverse.

John Corwin
John Corwin didn’t set out to become a writer, he stumbled into it the way some people stumble into magic. What began as a late-night experiment in blending teenage angst with supernatural absurdity turned into a career filled with vampire cheerleaders, snarky heroes, and more than a few demonic mishaps. Best known for his Overworld Chronicles, Corwin has carved a niche in the world of urban fantasy and young adult fiction where sarcasm meets spellcraft and nothing stays serious for long.
Chronicles of Cain
In a world where shadows stretch longer than the truth, Chronicles of Cain plunges readers into a darkly humorous, blood-soaked journey through the eyes of a protagonist who never asked to be a hero or a monster. Twisting classic vampire lore with a sharp, modern edge, this series explores what happens when immortality comes with baggage, sarcasm is a survival tactic, and redemption is never straightforward.
Chronicles of Cain consists of eleven books and series is set to expand with the upcoming release of one more book. The current recommended reading order for the series is provided below.
