Seeking the Salamander

Set between the events of Sorcery for Beginners and Cryptozoology for Beginners, Seeking the Salamander follows newly-anointed Level One Sorcerer Jacinda Greyeyes as she's sent by Euphemia Whitmore to rescue a magical salamander from Euclideans. Her dangerous mission will take her from an icy lake in Canada to a Euclidean base in New York City before ending in the depths of a volcano in Ecuador. By the end of her harrowing adventure, Jacinda will learn that not even magic can solve every problem.
