About the Book
An omnibus edition of The Guardian and The Double.
When a mysterious stranger with a briefcase full of cash moves into the basement of Elyse’s New York brownstone, she never imagines he’s a genie. Cade is gorgeous, exquisitely polite, and sophisticated, but nothing about him adds up... that is, until she learns he’s a magical being desperate to break a curse on his home city.
Teaming up with a human female isn’t the only challenge Elyse’s tenant will have to face. His trip to Elyse’s world created a duplicate of himself, a not-quite carbon copy who believes he’s Cade’s superior. Commander Arcadius ought to be easy for Elyse to resist. He’s arrogant, insensitive, and a chauvinist—making it obvious he doesn’t think much of her. Then, bit-by-bit, she sees past his prickly exterior. Arcadius is who Cade used to be before they met. If she fell for one man, chances are she’ll fall for the other...
Two full-length novels of the Djinn.
