Astra Ordott has escaped her old enemies, but in this new, disorientating world, can she trust?

Astra Ordott is in exile. Evicted from her paradise homeland for a crime she does not regret. She has found work in an ancient fortress, headquarters of CONC, the Council of New Continents, which is responsible for providing humanitarian aid to the desperate inhabitants of this toxic refugee camp.

Though still recovering from a disorienting course of Memory Pacification Treatment, Astra is determined to find her Code father and avenge the death of her Shelter mother.

But can anyone protect her from the hawk-eyed attentions of her old enemies? And who in this world of competing agendas can she trust?
