Blood of the Daxas combines steampunk elements with traditional fantasy in an exciting otherworldly adventure. In a land where the power of the Congregate of Mages has been weakened by the war with the Perliox Animists and the new “magics” of “science” and “technology” are getting stronger, a desperate plan is hatched. Meralandra, the ruling priestess-mage of Set Pomonar, sets out to capture the last remaining Dragon in the world. With the Dragon’s blood, the Congregate of Mages will once again regain their full powers and influence in the empire of the Imperium. But not everybody is enamored of that plan. Some want the balance of power to remain as it is and will do anything to keep it that way, even if it means betrayal, sabotage and death.
