The Forgetful Library

Joe Ducie

"The books in the Library are infinite and they are of three distinct kinds.

Kind the First: The Forgetful Library contains every book never written.

Kind the Second: The Forgetful Library contains every book that ever existed and was lost.

Kind the Third: The Forgetful Library contains every book found within books."

Declan Hale is summoned from the frontline of the Tome Wars at the behest of his grandfather, the Chief Librarian of the most abstract library in existence.

A Voidling, a creature from outside the universe, has broken through into the catalogues of Bountiful Doubt and killed a scribe. Tired and beaten, Declan must find the strength to outwit the beast and prevent an invasion of nightmare from claiming the world.
