Ghost Train is darker and not as much fun as the first part of the Shambling Guides, which is a bit shame. There'd be so much potential on the characters. Phil, Zoë's boss, is not involved in the story much, that was disappointment, since I really liked this "ordinary bloke" vampire at the first part. Arthur, Zoë's (almost zombi) boyfriend, on the other hand is in it -being a total twat! We are handed a handfull of new god's, demons and characters at New Orleans and of course Zoë's stumbling in the middle. So maybe not us fun, but entertaining enough to wait for the 3rd part of the series.
