About the Book
The Seven Swords have been retrieved. The gate to Avalon has been opened. The Round Table awaits. And the final stage of Artie Kingfisher’s quest has begun.
What started as a video game has become all too real for Artie. Alongside his sister, Kay, Artie has reached the legendary isle of Avalon, where he will take his rightful place as King Arthur reborn. But the quest is far from over. In preparation for the greatest battle of his life, Artie must recover nothing less than the mythical Holy Grail. And he may soon find that his final fight won’t be against just any enemy — but against someone he used to call friend.
The Otherworld Chronicles trilogy has received praise for its seamless blend of epic battles, ancient magic, and spot-on tween humor. ALA Booklist called The Invisible Tower “an entertaining quest fantasy, juiced with enough creativity to carry readers happily into future episodes.” Kirkus Reviews declared that “real excitement and horror await readers” in The Seven Swords.
Now, in The Dragon King, Artie’s life-changing quest comes to a spectacular close as our young king discovers what it truly means to be a hero.
