About the Book
This murder is only the beginning of a sordid number of events. Events etched against the Chicago skyline that will involve every echelon of the Chicago police department and make a talk show host a household name. Murder on the Pier, is a compelling work by Jere Myles, as Myles tells a story about tolerance that addresses philosophical issues and questions we have in the 21st century. Murder on the Pier is full of twists involving a menagerie of characters that include a priest who belongs on the cover of GQ; a widowed matriarch with an estranged daughter, and an inveterate fundamentalist who personifies evil as he is determined to leave no stone unturned while seeking to destroy one of the most celebrated love stories since The Front Runner.
