Blood Harvest

Rena Halbrook's childhood friend, Maura, disappears. At the same time a grisly murder occurs at her vineyard. Delving into her friend's past, Rena finds an 18th-century French manuscript suggesting madness in Maura's family, an obsession with blood sacrifices on the soil where the vines grow.
