Sinister Paradise and Other Tales from the Pulps

Robert Moore Williams (1907–1977), born in Farmington, Missouri, was an American writer, primarily of science fiction. His first published story was "Zero as a Limit," which appeared in "Astounding" in 1937 under the pseudonym of "Robert Moore." He was a prolific author throughout his career, with his last novel appearing in 1972. Other books of note include "The Day They H-Bombed Los Angeles" (1961), "Zanthar of the Many Worlds" (1967), and "Jongor of Lost Land" (1970) This collection assembles four of his works for magazines: the short stories "Thompson's Cat" and "Be It Ever Thus" and the short novels "Sinister Paradise" and "The Lost Warship."
