The fifth book in Maria Lima’s critically acclaimed urban fantasy series.

War has been declared by the fae against the Kelly Clan. Keira, her vampire lover Adam, and all the Wild Moon residents must leave the ranch as possession of it and all clan lands are in contention. Taking up residence in a historic San Antonio hotel, Keira, her family, and allies must strategize on how to reclaim their land — a situation made even more difficult by the convoluted wordings of the ancient Challenge that has been invoked.

As they research possibilities strange things begin to happen back in Rio Seco: the old cemetery is vandalized, fires break out at the strip center... and Minerva Kelly, clan leader and matriarch goes missing. Have the Faery captured her? Should Keira risk breaking the rules and return to the Wild Moon? Either way, she may lose everything.
