Born of Shadows

Caillen Dagan has known his entire life that he was adopted but he has never doubted that his destiny is to become the next generation of Dagan smugglers. Until fate intervenes and he meets his real father – and suddenly he’s a prince.

Princess Desideria has always known her duty, but she longs to travel and experience different cultures. Finally, her father relents and agrees to take her on board a diplomatic ship. But there Desideria falls into the hands of Caillen's enemy, Slevin Baiste, who uses her to entrap Caillen.

Caillen faces the man alone and escapes with Desideria. Unable to catch up to their ship, they are forced to land on another planet where Caillen quickly learns that Desideria is nothing like any woman he's ever known. And by the time they leave the planet, Desideria is fighting desperately to keep from loving the man who has become her hero.
