Drennin lives in a biosphere, enslaved and treated like nothing more than an irritating dog with bad manners. His wife hates him, and he hates her. He's next on the list to be destroyed, cast down to the Underworld, where unruly men are relegated to lives of destitution. His anger consumes him, fuels a driving need to kill his wife and exact his revenge.
