Father brought this book home from the Frankfurt Book Fair. It is really the best bookI have ever read, and I have read over one hundred. To me it is a mixture of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Comedy. It is quite old fashioned but unique. It;s as if it was written 60 years ago but it still has newer language and great characters. James Peck is the asthmatic hero and the wizard goldfis, yes that's right, Mendel is just amazing. I have already started book 2 in the series. I can't recommend this enough!!
