David Mack is the author of numerous Star Trek books, includingWildfire, A Time to Kill, A Time to Heal, Warpath and the critically and fan acclaimed series Star Trek: Destiny. With Marco Palmieri, he developed the Star Trek Vanguard series, for which he has written two novels, Harbinger and Reap the Whirlwind.

His other novels include the Wolverine espionage adventure Road of Bones, and his first original novel, The Calling, was published in July 2009.

Before writing books, David Mack co-wrote with John J. Ordover the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fourth-season episode "Starship Down" and the story treatment for the series' seventh-season episode "It's Only a Paper Moon."

An avid fan of Canadian progressive-rock trio Rush, David Mack has attended shows in all of their concert tours since 1982.

Having recently fled corporate servitude, David Mack now resides in a secret location with his wife, Kara.

Kevin Dilmore was a newspaper reporter and long-time contributing writer to Star Trek Communicator magazine before breaking into fiction writing. In addition to novels and short stories, both solo and with partner Dayton Ward, Kevin also contributed the author interviews in 2003's "Star Trek: Signature Collection" releases.

Dayton Ward (born 1967) is a science fiction author primarily known for his Star Trek novels and short stories, which began with publication in the Strange New Worlds anthology series. He published stories in each of the first three Strange New Worlds volumes, making him the first author to render himself ineligible under the rules of that series. As such, future authors who achieved the same feat were said to have earned a "Wardy."

In addition to his Star Trek books, he has written numerous articles related to Star Trek in Star Trek Communicator and Star Trek Magazine.
