The Moon Child

The Moon Child is a mythic-fantasy novel of love and magic. Maria the Moon Child is an outcast from the barrio because of her moonpower, her psychic ability to communicate with enchanted spirits and see the future in dreams and visions. Two men fall in love with her Arturo, the Barrio Captain, a man of earthly power and authority; and Juanito, the Charmer of the Groves, a man of mystery and magic.

When she is forced to choose between them-tragedy occurs. Their lives become entangled like the roots of a balete tree as they journey through the dark labyrinth of love, passion, and betrayal.
