Earth has been split asunder by the reckless actions of those who thought humanity's future would be best served by leaving the planet. In their ambition and their determination they inflicted damage beyond their worst imaginings on the world they left behind. One group of offworlders determines to return, eons later, in order to set to rights the historical schism of their race. But in returning they set history reeling once more.
