About the Book
Pomona: a gigantic arena where Car Warriors, their high-performance machine armed with high-tech weapons, duels to the death on network TV.
Palm Springs: a battered oasis in the desert, once the playground of the rich and famous, now temporary home to a rag-tag army of outlaws.
Val Paladin – area champion, darling of the TV ratings.
Vanna Kreig – Skynet executive, who'll do anything to keep those ratings high.
Bambi Starr – up-and-coming duelist who has the body of an angle but fights like a demon.
Iggy Mengele – pint-sized outlaw with a big score to settle with Paladin.
What will happen when the pampered pests of the arena face the raging horde of Iggy's outlaws – men and women who've come "Back from Hell"?
Welcome to the world of the Car Warriors – the freeways of the future, where the right of the way goes to the biggest guns.
