Chosen of the Night

The haunting poetry and shadow-filled dreams have finally stopped for Vala, but her nightmare still lingers. Caught in between the sun and the night, Vala finds herself living a lie amongst the ones she loves to protect them. Or is it just herself – the true nature of what she now is – that she is trying to protect?

Desperate for the affection of her mortal love, yet powerless to her darker desires, Vala infiltrates a clan of vampires to learn more of her race. But they are even more interested in the truth that she alone hides, and Vala finds that although her own powers may be able to save those around her, she is the one that needs most to be saved.
