A Rebel in Time

Colonel McCulloch is head of security at a top secret research station near Washington. He is also taking a great interest in the period of the American Civil War, and has stockpiled a quarter of a million dollars in gold.

Agent Troy Harmon is assigned to investigate McCulloch's behaviour when McCulloch becomes a suspect in two murder cases. But McCulloch has completely disappeared. Harmon discovers that the research station was conducting experiments in time travel, and he realises that McCulloch plans to travel back to the time of the Civil War and alter history.

Harmon must follow McCulloch back – it will mean a one-way trip, and great risk for a black soldier in this period of time.
