John Llewellyn Probert is the author of twenty two books, the latest of which are The Frightfest Guide to Mad Doctor Movies (FAB Press), the Amicus-style portmanteau novel How Grim Was My Valley (NewCon Press) and the Black Shuck micro-collection Chasing Spirits (Black Shuck Books). He reviews new movie releases at his site, House of Mortal Cinema, and is a regular columnist for the magazines Weird Fiction Review and Nightmare Abbey in the US and We Belong Dead in the UK.
