Yevgeny Zamyatin

Yevgeny Ivanovich Zamyatin, 1884–1937, was a Russian author of science fiction, philosophy and political satire. He is best known for his dystopian novel We, which criticized the Soviet Union's totalitarianism and was banned by the censorship board.
