With a knack for weaving dark magic, romance, and truth into her tales, Maya’s writing transports readers to realms where the boundaries between the known and the unknown blur seamlessly.

Before stepping into the realm of fiction, Maya spent years as an investigative journalist, an experience that lends her stories an undeniable realism. Her sharp eye for detail and her ability to uncover hidden truths make her narratives feel grounded, even when they are set in worlds filled with supernatural wonders. Her deep understanding of human nature and her fascination with the arcane and esoteric have led to books that explore the depths of both the magical and the mundane.

Born with an innate passion for storytelling, Maya penned her first poem at a young age, earning her first award at just eight years old for a piece about bees. That early recognition sparked a lifelong love of writing, and she hasn’t looked back since. Over the years, she’s traveled extensively, gathering stories from across Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and America. These travels have given her a unique perspective on the world, which she infuses into her writing, creating worlds that feel both familiar and foreign.

Now based in Ohio, Maya continues to hone her craft, drawing inspiration from her diverse experiences and her insatiable curiosity about the unknown. Her books often center around fierce heroines who are just as complex as the worlds they inhabit. Her works, which have made her a USA Today bestselling and multi-award-winning author, are a perfect blend of suspense, fantasy, and a touch of the mystical.
