Lisa Regan

Lisa Regan’s journey as a writer began in the quiet corners of her childhood home, where she developed a fascination for stories that linger long after the last page is turned. Born and raised in the United States, Regan’s love for crime fiction and psychological suspense runs deep. Over the years, she honed her craft with an unwavering commitment to creating characters who aren’t just caught in dark situations—but who thrive within them, testing their resilience in the most gut-wrenching ways.

With the release of Vanishing Girls in 2018, Regan introduced readers to Detective Josie Quinn, a tough yet deeply vulnerable character whose personal and professional worlds collide in spine-tingling ways. This debut marked the beginning of what would become a bestselling series, with the Detective Josie Quinn novels quickly finding a dedicated audience. To date, these books have sold millions of copies, a testament to Regan’s ability to weave complex, unpredictable plots with a steady undercurrent of emotional depth.

Regan's writing is as much about the characters as it is about the suspense. She expertly blends psychological thrillers with crime procedurals, creating narratives that are never far from the edge of the reader's seat. Each book in the series delves into heavy themes—grief, loss, justice, and redemption—without shying away from the darker aspects of humanity. The result is a series that isn't just about solving crimes; it's about understanding the people who are affected by them, making the stakes personal and heart-wrenching.

What sets Regan apart in the crowded world of thrillers is her ability to craft stories that resonate emotionally, while still keeping the plot tight, thrilling, and full of twists. She brings readers along on a journey that’s as much about the psychological unraveling as it is about catching the culprit.

Regan’s books have earned accolades and a loyal following worldwide, yet she remains humble, finding her greatest joy in hearing from readers who connect with her work on a personal level. Whether you’re new to her world or have been following Josie Quinn from the start, Lisa Regan’s writing promises to keep you hooked from the first chapter to the last.
