A.F. Kay

A.F. Kay, also known by his pen name Ripht, is a writer whose work captures the spirit of adventure, imagination, and the nostalgia of online gaming. Drawing from his deep love of gaming and exploration, Kay crafts stories that blend wonder and excitement in a way that resonates with both younger audiences and adult readers alike.

Before embarking on his writing career, Kay spent years away from the keyboard, navigating the complexities of life. But as his inner stories began to demand attention, he returned to his true passion: storytelling. His debut series, Divine Apostasy, is a LitRPG saga that transports readers to vibrant, game-like worlds, filled with quests, challenges, and personal growth. The series reflects his own journey through the digital realms, much like the adventures he had in the Crypt of Dalnir, where his monk character relentlessly pursued the elusive Lumpy Goo.

The magic of Kay's writing lies in its ability to evoke the wonder of these worlds while being grounded in universal themes like identity, friendship, and perseverance. His books are designed to be safe and enjoyable for middle-graders, yet layered enough for adults to appreciate, making his work accessible to a wide audience.

A firm believer in the power of community, A.F. Kay connects with fans through platforms like Discord and Patreon, offering a space for readers to engage with his worlds and stories on a deeper level. His writing isn’t just about crafting narratives; it’s about fostering connections and sharing in the journey of discovery, both for his characters and his readers.

When he's not writing, you might find him revisiting the world of online games or exploring the landscapes of his imagination. For Kay, every story is a chance to relive those days spent in virtual adventures, creating new worlds for his readers to explore and enjoy.

If you're ready for a journey through vibrant realms where anything is possible, A.F. Kay’s books are waiting to take you there.
