Shelly Laurenston

Shelly Laurenston is the kind of author who knows exactly how to make readers laugh out loud while keeping them on the edge of their seats. Known for her irreverent humor, wild characters, and fast-paced plots, Laurenston’s books are a thrilling blend of romance, fantasy, and a healthy dose of chaos. She may have traded her New York roots for the West Coast sunshine, but her writing has remained unapologetically bold and fiercely original.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Shelly now finds herself soaking in the warmth of California, where she’s come to appreciate healthy food, sunny days, and, perhaps most notably, the sight of guys not wearing shirts when they probably should be. When she’s not writing her latest steamy, action-packed novel, you can often find her sharing a home with her beloved pit bull—who has a habit of loving everyone into a coma.

Laurenston’s books are known for their unique blend of humor and mythology, with her Pride series and Call of Crows series offering readers a mix of strong-willed heroines and fearless men, all set in a world where shifters, supernatural creatures, and gods walk among us. Under her pseudonym, [author_link_12010], Laurenston dives into the world of dragons and fierce warriors, creating high-stakes adventures in the Dragon Kin and Scarred Earth Saga series.

From her first book to her most recent release, Shelly has captivated fans with her distinct voice—one that blends laugh-out-loud humor with action, romance, and characters you just can't forget. Her books are full of heart, sharp wit, and stories that keep readers coming back for more, no matter how many dragons, bears, or Honey Badgers are involved.

When not weaving tales of the fantastical, Shelly Laurenston enjoys life with her rescue pit bull, a creature who may just have more personality than any of her characters—and that’s saying something. Whether it’s a dragon in her Dragon Kin series or a feisty shifter in her Pride books, Shelly’s characters bring their own brand of chaos to the page—and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
