Farmer Giles of Ham

BOOK REVIEW

Farmer Giles of Ham

J. R. R. Tolkien

6/10Written Oct 23, 2007

I read this book a couple of years ago, when I found it in the bookstore.

Farmer Giles of Ham is a surprisingly good children's book by J.R.R. Tolkien. It's a little book and it's clearly written for children, but adults can enjoy it too.

I guess you could call this book cute, because that's what it is.

The Letters of J. R. R. Tolkien

Humphrey Carpenter, Christopher Tolkien, J. R. R. Tolkien

6/10Written Oct 23, 2007

It's interesting how everything that J.R.R. Tolkien has ever written will be published sooner or later. :)

I read this book out of curiosity. This book offers some interesting knowledge about Tolkien to readers, but there's not much anything else in this book.

I can only recommend this book to Tolkien fanatics, who want to read everything about Tolkien.

Song of the Beast

BOOK REVIEW

Song of the Beast

Carol Berg

8/10Written Oct 23, 2007Edited Oct 23, 2007

Song of the Beast is a stand-alone fantasy book and it's not connected to Carol Berg's other fantasy books.

In my opinion Song of the Beast is a pretty good book, but it's not as good as The Books of the Rai-Kirah or The Bridge of D'Arnath.

If you enjoy reading good fantasy stories, you should read this book.
