Shards of a Broken Crown

Raymond E. Feist has gained international success with the worlds he has created. Feist's action-packed books are filled with expansive stories that become as real as any land in human history. The characters that come alive are not soon forgotten as they follow the destinies carved out for them by this internationally renowned fantasy author.

Shards of a Broken Crown is Raymond Feist's latest installment in the Serpentwar Saga. This fourth and final volume finds Midkemia a war-torn land. General Fadawah, a former lackey of Queen Emerald, has declared himself Lord of the defeated and builds an army in a final bid to control the weakened kingdom. Although this territory has suffered greatly since the Demon King's siege, the malevolent General Fadawah's victory over the exhausted citizens is not assured.

The hope to return Midkemia to its former days of glory comes in the guise of two young noble brothers, Jimmy and Dash. The brothers certainly have their work cut out for them as their actions determine the consequences of all of the citizens they are fighting for. Many characters return in this conclusion of theSerpentwar Saga: Roo Avery, Erik von Darkmoor, Duko, Pug, Nakor, and Miranda all play a part in the gathering storm that began in Shadow of a Dark Queen.

Shards of a Broken Crown only confirms Raymond E. Feist's status as a premier epic fantasy writer.
