About the Book
When a toy train locomotive—a chilling replica—is discovered at a gruesome homicide scene, Special Agent Sandra Rose finds herself pulled into an investigation that's off the rails. To crack this enigmatic case, she enlists the help of Samuel Lynch, a railroad expert and former FBI agent.
Together, they embark on a perilous journey, tracking a killer whose gruesome tableau unfolds along the railway lines between Chicago and San Antonio, the very route of the Texas Eagle train line. As the body count rises, the stakes escalate into a national security crisis.
But when Rose's sister mysteriously vanishes, the investigation turns personal. Lynch and Rose find themselves in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse with The Controller, the FBI's number one most wanted. With time running out, they must risk everything to derail his twisted plans and prevent the resurrection of his criminal empire.
The Controller is back, and the game has just begun.
