A Forbidden Longing

You’ve heard this tale: A mermaid beneath the waves, longing for the world above. A forbidden bargain, a stolen voice, and a prince who never knew her name.

But this isn’t quite the fairytale you remember.

Elira has always watched the surface with hungry eyes—fascinated not just by humans, but by the prince with a storm in his gaze and the sun in his smile. When he’s thrown overboard in a violent storm, she saves him and begins to dream of a life beyond the sea. Elira makes a dangerous bargain: surrender her voice and win his heart in five days, or belong to the sea witch forever.

Prince Stefan is drawn to the silent girl who appeared like a dream—mysterious, radiant, and unlike anyone he’s ever known. But as doubt creeps in and another woman vies for his hand, his heart is pulled in too many directions.

Time is running out. The tides are turning. And love must rise before the sea reclaims her.

Step into a world of shimmering enchantment and smoldering passion in A Forbidden Longing, the fifth novella in Cleo Calloway’s Enchanted Desires series, where beloved fairytales take a seductive, spellbinding twist.
