Claiming Lyla

When Lyla Chatham’s brother, the pack alpha, learns of her interference in his criminal activities, he sets her up for a Claiming Rite with a series of brutal alphas to get rid of her. But neither of them expects the Shifter Council’s representative to be on hand to interfere or to be her true mate. Duncan MacKinnon is on his last assignment before he can return to his pack and take up his duties as Alpha Heir when a simple undercover operation turns into a rescue mission, not only of his mate but of several human females. When it all goes south, will Lyla trust an unknown Alpha, her true mate, or remain free to defeat her brother herself?
