After inheriting the responsibility of saving the world from Princess Zafira, Rosa smuggled her burden into Faraway Castle Resort. But even in sleep, hidden in a secret enclosure, Zafira has her wiles, so Rosa maintains vigilant barriers of magicked flowers, shrubs, and trees to keep snooping princes at bay.

When asked to accept the position of Magical-Creature Controller, Prince Briar of Auvers leaps at the chance to serve at the famous resort while disguised as a homely enchanter. First day on the job, he walks into a booby trap and encounters a furious, frightened gardener who’s obviously hiding something. But winning the prickly young enchantress’s trust is no easy task, especially while concealing his own identity . . .

A resort guest, the devious Prince Javier of Evora, begins shadowing Rosa. Seeing her reaction to him, Briar suspects the rival prince of dark motives. Torn between the powerful allure wafting from a hidden garden and his growing desire to protect the pretty gardener-mage, Briar must solve the mystery without losing his mind and/or heart. Or is it already too late?
