Shadow's Escape

You can run but you can't hide from death.

When a fisherwoman reports seeing a local young woman potentially assaulted or abducted, Shadow Island Sheriff Rebecca West’s heart constricts. The disappearance of three other girls in the span of a week can’t be a coincidence. But other than being about the same age, everything else about the girls and their mysterious disappearances are inconsistent. Besides, since all are legal adults with no jobs but plenty of nice things, it’s entirely possible they just took off on an impromptu vacation.

Except none of the girls took their car. And no one is answering their phone.

Now, Rebecca’s intuition is tingling because the young women do seem to have one thing in common. The Yacht Club.

When the body of one of the girls is discovered, Rebecca vows to track down the killer before they claim their next victim. She should be campaigning to keep her position as Shadow Island’s sheriff. But the elite and depraved Yacht Club has been preying on the girls of Shadow Island for far too long, and no one has been willing to do anything about it. Until now.
