About the Book
It was a love to burn both their worlds...As darkness begins to fall on Helena, she finds solace and passion in the arms of her mysterious protector, Tomas.
I used to be Ellie, the life of the party. My name is Helena, given by my grandparents. I was their shining light.
I now seek solace in the village where I grew up, as I feel the light begin to fade.
Having Tomas as my protector was never in the plan. He is everything I never knew I needed, all that I ever wanted...the only man who ignites my passion, just as the darkness takes over.
If only I could say how much he means to me. If only I could be in his arms forever.
They call me
Tomas, after the patron saint of their human village. I am the last thing from holy.
I belong to the shadows of the forest. After a dark bargain, here I am, finally with her.
Helena is my dawn and my dusk; the reason my black blood runs burning hot, why my blacker heart beats louder than thunder. She has always been mine to protect…and, now, mine to possess as only a creature as I could.
If only I could tell her what I really am. If only I could give her my own eternity.
