British author and editor Joel Lane, 50, died suddenly November 25, 2013, reportedly in his sleep.
Joel Lane is the author of these highly regarded collections: The Earth Wire & Other Stories (1994), The Lost District and Other Stories (2006), The Terrible Changes (2009) and Where Furnaces Burn (2012). He is also the author of two mainstream novels, and he edited anthologies.
